BREW 是美国高通公司（QUALCOMM）为无线数据应用程序开发和执行提供的

通用接口平台，主要支持CDMA 手机，最新也可以支持GSM 手机。BREW 提供了一套应

用程序接口（API），设备制造商和开发人员可以随时对运行环境进行扩展，提供应用程序

需要的各种附加性能模块。本文通过研究BREW 事件处理机制，理解了BREW 事件驱动模

型。在了解BREW 程序执行过程的前提下，分析了事件驱动处理中需要注意的问题并给出

了相应的实例，最后根据最新发展趋势介绍了触摸屏事件处理。

QUALCOMM, originally for CDMA mobile phones, but GSM is now also supported. The main

advantage of BREW platforms is that the application developers can easily port their applications. In

this paper, according to a deep research on BREW event handling mechanism, we will have a better

understanding of the BREW event-driven model. After understanding the implementation of BREW

program we analysis the problems we should take good care of in the event handling process. Finally

there is a brief introduction about the touch-screen event handling according the new trend nowadays.
