This brief report describes the Applied Meteorology Unit’s development and

actuation of an artificial neural network for predicting cloud cover at the Shuttle

nding Facility (SLF). This first section describes the motivation for the project and

ovides an introduction to artificial neural network models. Section 2 describes the

development of the neural network model and summarizes its effectiveness. Section 3

summarizes the evaluation analysis performed on the neural network model and finally,
