Space-time processing for MIMO communications is a broad area, owing in part to

the underlying convergence of information theory, communications, and signal processing

research that brought it to fruition. Among its constituent topics, space-time coding has

played a prominent role, and is well summarized in recent graduate texts. Several other

topics, however, are also important in order to grasp the bigger picture in space-time processing.
