Identification and Tracking of Rapidly Time Varying Mobile Channels for Improved Equalization.The goal of this paper is to

investigate the effectiveness of this channel tracking method when applied to rapidly fading channels. It is shown that, by appropriately

modifying the channel estimation and equalization procedures, the

same benefits as in a slow fading system can be obtained. Simulation results demonstrate the improved performance resulting from the use

of channel tracking in rapidly time varying channels.
