Projection Radiography refers to the many “conventional” X-ray studies (e.g., dental, chest, broken bones...) in which X-ray photons transmitted through the body are recorded on film or detected electronically. Typically the films and digital images are viewed directly by the radiologist, usually with no or minimal additional processing.
