During the past decade, Wind energy have attracted interest as a result of the increasing concern about CO2 emissions. The doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs)have been widely used in modern wind energy systems, due

to the advantages of variable speed operation and four quadrant active and reactive power capabilities. In DFIG,the stator is directly connected to the grid and the rotor is connected to the grid by a bidirectional converter. The

converter connected to the rotor controls active and the reactive power between the stator of the DFIG and ac supply or a standalone grid.
