A software design of virtual oscilloscope for displaying and analyzing the motor fault waveform is accomplished, which provides a quantitative analysis tool for motor fault analysis. The software adopts the idea of object-oriented language, is divided into 5 modules: virtual oscilloscope interface design, asynchronous serial communication, Modbus protocol software package, waveform Fourier analysis, waveform storage and access five modules, using VC++ dialog application framework to complete the detailed design and implementation of the 5 modules based on; through the test, the virtual oscilloscope has the advantages of simple operation, accurate measurement, can satisfy the use requirement)
