本文通过对现代远程通信方式的讨论，提出了利用现有GSM网络的短消息业务实现的远程通信的种种优势，并将这种方式应用于本设计系统。采用先进的GSM通信模块和单片机互连的终端系统，通过AT指令，实现了数据的发送。在PC机端，通过VB编程实现人机友好交互界面，通过连接GSM模块实现接收终端发出的数据的功能。文中论述了GSM系统的组成结构、主要业务，重点介绍了短消息业务的特点、结构等方面，并基于此建立了整个系统。详细介绍了系统主要硬件组成部分及其作用，给出了整个系统软件流程图和部分子程序流程图。介绍了该技术的应用前景和推广价值。而且提出了本系统尚需解决的一些问题，并给出了可能解决这些问题的途径和方法。但是由于利用短消息业务存在时延等问题，本文基于此还提出了另一种基于GPRS的系统方案。介绍了GPRS的业务特点，网络结构等方面，并给出了整个系统设计.-Based on the modern long-distance means of communication to discuss the proposed use of the existing GSM network Short Message Service to achieve the various advantages of long-distance communications, and in this way the system used in this design.
